The Club Alpbach Upper Austria
In addition to the annual awarding of scholarships for the European Forum Alpbach, the Club Alpbach Upper Austria organizes numerous events and initiatives throughout the year to strengthen the "Spirit of Alpbach". The main aim is to promote critical discourse, to work together on the major problems of our time and to contribute to the idea of a common, strong and united Europe.
Values such as diversity, equality, solidarity and sustainability are central to our mission and play a fundamental role in the existence of our club - be it at the European Forum Alpbach or in the course of our overall presence throughout the year.

The European Forum Alpbach
Every year at the end of August, the European Forum Alpbach (EFA) creates a place for thinking in the Alpine village of Alpbach in Tirol, bringing together young people with the most innovative minds from politics, business, civil society, culture and science. Together they develop ideas for a strong and democratic Europe. With a diverse community from all disciplines and generations, the EFA addresses European decision-makers and enables them to expand their knowledge in order to make good decisions for Europe.

Community
As a club, we can draw on a network of ambitious and inspiring personalities that is over 20 years old. Our (former) scholarship holders form the heart of the Club Alpbach Upper Austria and the core of our membership.
Our scholarship holders from previous years represent a wide range of expertise, such as in the fields of social work, natural sciences, political sciences, philosophy, law, mechanical engineering, teaching, communication sciences, economics, literature and medicine.
In addition to the scholarships, we organize events and initiatives for our members throughout the year with politicians, business leaders, scientists and other opinion leaders in their respective fields. With the motto "Challenge the Future", we consciously try to promote critical dialog and actively work together on a promising future.
Become a member
As a member of Club Alpbach Upper Austria, you are invited to all Club events, have access to our broad alumni network and are kept up to date on exciting Club events, events organized by our partners and the European Forum Alpbach.
We organize exclusive guided tours of exciting and relevant institutions and hold discussions with leading representatives from the worlds of culture, science, politics and business.

Full members are all those persons who officially become part of our club by receiving a CAOÖ scholarship.
You are a member of the Club Alpbach Upper Austria until further notice, have the right to vote at our General Assembly, can participate in all our events without restrictions and are obliged to pay your membership fee on time.
Supporting members
€ 30+
For all members who wish to support the activities of Club Alpbach Upper Austria over and above the normal membership fee.
As a supporting member, you naturally choose the exact amount yourself, but this is at least €30/year. By becoming a supporting member, you make a significant contribution to promoting a lively, energetic and financially independent Club Alpbach Upper Austria.
